Expectations
- Be on time to class. If you are not in your seat and working at the start of class, you will be marked as tardy.
- Be polite and respect everyone in the room.
- Do not leave the classroom without permission.
- Stay in your seats unless directed to do otherwise.
- I will dismiss you at the end of the period, not the clock.
- Your completed, teacher-initialed Student Handbook is your hall pass. Each student will be allowed a maximum of 3 passes per quarter.
- Do not take any pen, papers, etc…off my desk or tables without permission.
- When I am talking in class, I expect your full attention and respect. I will return this courtesy to you.
- There are no CD players, cell phones, or other electronic devices allowed in my classroom. If seen, they will be turned in to an administrator.
- No food or drink in the classroom. Water is allowed unless students abuse this privilege by leaving a mess.
- All students must follow the school dress code policy.
- All book bags and backpacks must be kept in your locker.
Consequences
- A verbal warning will be given.
- Conference with student (formal or informal).
- A phone call will be made to parents.
- A referral to the office and/or removal from class.
